Christmas 2019-20 "Celebrate the Season!"  Our latest Christmas offering honoring the traditions we all share that get us in the spirit of this wondrous season!  Our most unique and fun concert to date as we will, of course, honor the birth of our Lord, but we'll also take you on a sleigh ride, get you in the mood to put up the tree and all the trimmings, ring bells and paly instruments, have fun in the snow with family and friends and sing songs of great joy!  Highlights are the opening track "It's Christmas" which sets the tone for the evening, the most fa la las you have ever heard in our a cappella selection "Fum Fum Fantasia", a powerful, majestic version of "The Little Drummer Boy", A super fun version of "Jingle Bells", our very own Patrick Reijo leading us in "Go Tell It on the Mountain" and an authentic African version complete with drums of "Joy to the World"!  This CD will certainly put you in the mood as the Superior Singers celebrate the season with their own unique style!  Not to be missed!

Summer 2019 "C'mon Get Happy! - the 70s"  Our best CD to date featuring iconic artists and songs from the "feel good" decade of the 70s will certainly make you and your friends happy with highlights featuring our rockin' opener Queen's "We Will Rock You", some Doobie Brothers and Three Dog Night and a fantastic a cappella version of Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" - other great feel good songs like Billy Joel's "Piano Man" and disco classic "Turn the Beat Around" both done amazingly a cappella!  Also, you gotta have some Neil Diamond with his fan favorite "Sweet Caroline", The uplifting "I Can See Clearly Now",  some Eagles and the most amazing a cappella song we've probably ever done - ABBA's "Dancing Queen!  Ending the CD is a rousing version of "Free Ride" and bookending with Queen's "Somebody to Love" featuring Patrick Reijo doing his best Freddie Mercury!  An amazing finale on an amazing CD!

Christmas 2018-19 "Good Tidings Now We Bring!"  Our new and great CD featuring familiar carols and hymns done in unfamiliar ways while still telling that timeless Christmas story!  Starting off with the title track to the tune of the English "Sussex Carol" and highlights including  clever a cappella versions of "Angels We Have Heard On High", "I Saw Three Ships", island style "The Holly & the Ivy", a mideastern sounding version of "We Three Kings" and one of the most beautiful and captivating versions of "O Holy Night" that you will ever hear!  Other highlights included are Patrick Reijo and the choir on the unforgettable lullaby "Infant Heart of God" and the powerful finale "Carol of the Faithful".  Too many highlights to mention here but the variety of great and unique arrangements of these Christmas classics is not to be missed!

Summer 2018 "Beatles Forever"  A tribute to the Fab Four whose music shaped a generation!  We go from their first American release with "I Saw Her Standing There" to their last release as a band 1970's "Let it Be".  Many highlights along the way, including a cappella renditions of "Can't Buy Me Love", "Good Day Sunshine" and "Eleanor Rigby" from 1965's Revolver, tremendous arrangements of "When I'm 64" and "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da", "Here Comes the Sun" a cappella along with a King Singers arrangement of "Come Together" complete with Patrick Reijo vocal percussion and going out with a bang with Patrick taking the lead on a powerful, Joe Cocker style rendition of "With a Little Help From My Friends"!  Something for everyone on this not miss CD of Beatles favorites!

Christmas 2017-18 "The Superior Singers Christmas Gospel Hour"   An hour of gospel music and a cappella spirituals celebrating the birth of our Lord and honoring the memory of Ruthie Burnham 1944-2017 and her gospel upbringings.  A spectacular CD opening with "Hark the Herald!" from 2009 when Ruthie first joined the group and "You Better Get Ready", a kicking gospel song that Ruthie led in 2010.  A new rousing gospel song "The Glory Revealed" comes next and is followed by our first a cappella spiritual offering "We're Goin' Up to Bethlehem" - not to be missed.  We don't let up as we deliver a fantastic southern gospel rock song "Don't Be Afraid" that is different than anything we've done in the past.  The Motown tinged "Glory" welcomes the birth of our Lord, while the world asks "Have You Seen the Baby?" with an energetic a cappella spiritual.  Next comes the most spectacular "Go Tell It on the Mountain" that you've ever heard!  Two in a row honoring our Holy Mother - the contemplative "Mary Did You Know?" and followed by the barn burner spiritual "Mary Sat-a-Rockin'".  A prayer in gospel fashioned is offered up, "All Night, All Day" and leads into our spiritual honoring the three Kings "Follow That Star".  Patrick Reijo takes over as we bring the house down with "Oh, Happy Day" and take out this portion of the show with a gospel, funk version of the popular hymn "Joy to the World!"  We send you home fulfilled with one of Ruthie's favorite songs, a gospel version of "Holy, Holy Night".  One of our best CDs ever and will be a wonderful CD to add to your collection!

Summer 2017 "Let's Go to the Movies"  CD chock full of songs and themes from the Silver Screen!  Movie music fun featuring "Thanks for the Memory", a nostalgic medley of Hollywood classics, a wonderful a cappella version of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" from "Shrek".  Great movie themes from "The Pink Panther", "James Bond Theme" from the original 1962 movie "Dr. No" and an a cappella version of "Axel F" from "Beverly Hills Cop".  Fun for the kids and the big kid in all of us with a medley of songs from last year's "Peanuts Movie", and our classic epic from "Wayne's World" - Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" featuring Patrick Reijo doing it all.  Other highlights are "Shout!" from "Animal House" and the finale from "Dirty Dancing" "I've Had the Time of My Life".  Fun for the whole family - don't miss it!

Christmas 2016-17 "Three Gifts - My Life, My Heart, My Praise"  Our new CD showing a more progressive approach with more a cappella and adding handheld instruments to the mix, yet still offering familiar carols in new and exciting arrangements.  Based on "O Come, All Ye Faithful", "Three Gifts" opens with this wonderful, original song which is also featured in the spectacular ending.  "Prophets of Old" forecasting the coming of the Lord, goes into the modern, exhilarating "Gloria!",  "Wake the World With Joy!" features solo by our own Patrick Reijo and percussion by Devaney O'Brien. The beautiful and poignant, "A Midwinter Noel" leads into the upbeat "This Christmas Morn" based on the carol "I Saw Three Ships".  Two songs from the West Indies, the a cappella "Light the Candle, Mary" and "The Virgin Mary Had a Baby Boy" offer fun tributes to our Holy Mother. "We Three Kings" is performed here a cappella in a creative arrangement incorporating chant that you won't want to miss!  The concert comes full circle with "Three Gifts" and a reprise of "O Come, All Ye Faithful" that will leave you breathless.  You won't want to miss this exciting CD that ushers in a new era for the Singers!

Summer 2016 "Disney Spectacular!"  Our most family friendly CD featuring Disney music from every generation.  Opening with the powerful Lion King opener "Circle of Life" complete with the Swahili call to the animals to see the new king, the CD features classic Disney with "Zip-a-dee-doo dah" as a centerpiece - also a cappella versions of "Seize the Day" from Newsies, as well as "Kiss the Girl" from The Little Mermaid and "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" featured in the movie The Lion King.  Some fun medleys featuring songs from classics like Mary Poppins and Beauty and the Beast are featured here.  Our first ever take on modern a cappella complete with beatbox on a Pentatonix arrangement of Frozen's "Let It Go" along with Patrick Reijo leading us in a King's Singers whirlwind arrangement of the Little Mermaid's "Under the Sea". The concert comes to a sentimental close with the beautiful love song from the Lion King "Can You Feel the Love Tonight".  Something for everyone here as we present this don't miss CD that you will really enjoy!

Christmas 2015-16  25th anniversary "Christmas Jubilee"             Our biggest concert ever celebrating the great Christmas music we have performed throughout the years.  The CD features songs from many of our previous concerts and also showcases the different styles of music we have performed from classical to contemporary, sacred to secular and even a cappella.  Highlights include "Hark the Herald!" from 2009, the classical "Sing Gloria! from 2012, the beautiful ballad "Meant for Holy Scars" from 2014, a Robert Shaw a cappella arrangement of the old German carol "Christ Was Born on Christmas Day" from the late 1990's, the incredible Mary and Joseph duet "I Am Yours (Magnificat)" from 2013, one of the greatest songs we've done "Heaven Is In This House" from 2009 and the powerful finale "Still the Lamb", also from 2009 featuring Ruthie Burnham and Rick Olson!  Over an hour of Christmas favorites on one CD!  Don't miss it!

Summer 2015 "The Beat Goes On - the 1960's":                              Our most unique and fun concert CD yet as the Superior Singers span the decade where the music truly reflected the changing times!  Featuring a cappella versions of some of the greatest songs of that era starting with "Stand By Me", school spirit with the Beach Boys "Be True to Your School", Motown classics, a really groovy jazz version of Simon and Garfunkel's "Feelin' Groovy", a trio of hits from the Association, a super fun version of "Build Me Up Buttercup", a little protest set featuring Blowin' in the Wind and Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In, and coming to a close with a powerful, gospel rendition of the 1969 classic, "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother".  This CD you won't want to miss - one that you will be playing over and over and sharing with your friends!

Christmas 2014-15  "Come Messiah King":                                           The Superior Singers at their very best!  Again with the great music of Rouse/Vader/Aspinall, this concert celebrates the coming of the King in spectacular fashion!  Highlights include the powerful title track bookends, along with one of our best revisited tracks, the glorious "Hark the Herald!", an innovative take on "Ding Dong Merrily on High", the incredibly moving and emotional "Meant For Holy Scars" - unforgettable, a tribute to the 70's with the fun and funky "The Kings Came Calling", and the sheer majesty of the awe inspiring "Star of the Morning".  One you will want to add and keep in your collection.  Don't miss it!

Summer 2014 "It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)": The Superior Singers get the joint jumpin' with this remarkable CD featuring the great songs of the Big Band era.  This can't miss CD shows the Singers at their very best with swingin' songs from some of the great big band leaders and some smooth jazz from other famous artists of the 30's and 40's.  Starting off with a set from the great Duke Ellington featuring the title track, the swingin' continues with a cool version of Glenn Miller's "In the Mood", some Cole Porter, a jazz a cappella version of the torch song, "Tenderly", a blistering set of 1940's big band classics, and racing to the finish line with a night on the town medley featuring old and new school swing, coming full circle with the title track reprised reminding us that "It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)! An unforgettable musical experience that you will be playing over and over again!

Christmas 2013-14 "And on Earth...Peace": - The Superior Singers present their most powerful and moving Christmas concert to date, featuring the great music of Randy Vader and Jay Rouse.  Peace is the subject here as the Singers offer highlights such as an African rendition of "Do You Hear What I Hear?" , "A Merry Carol of the Bells" combining Carol of the Bells and God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen, I Am Yours (Magnificat) - an unforgettable Mary and Joseph duet, the powerful and beautiful song, "Heaven is in this House", including parts of O, Holy Night, a majestic version of "Let There Be Peace on Earth", and a grand finale featuring Ruthie Burnham, "Still the Lamb".  This CD will be one you will be playing again and again - don't miss it!

Summer 2013 "Let the Good Times Roll!" - The Superior Singers journey back to the good old radio days of the 1950s with a nod to the great doo-wop artists of that time.  Tune in to WSSR radio - Superior Singers radio - to hear highlights like the title track, "Blue Moon" and "Graduation Day" and then head down to the street corner for some a cappella doo-wop classics like "Silhouettes", "Come Go With Me" and Billy Joel's "Longest Time" .  This CD also features a doo-wop battle of the sexes - that's right - cats vs. chicks - you decide who blazes to doo-wop glory!  A fun CD that will take you back to the era that coined the term "rock n' roll".  Don't miss it!

 Winter 2012-13 "Tonight, Heaven Touches Earth" - Our most powerful and inspirational Christmas concert CD to date!  Featuring the Gloria Gaither song "Tonight" as its basis, along with the Motown inspired "Follow the Light" and the poignant songs "Why?" and "Still He Came" while masterfully coming to a rousing finale with the Gaither song "His Love Reaching" into the Paul Baloche anthem "Offering" and closing with a flourish with the reprise of "Tonight".  Not to be missed!

Summer 2012 "HOMELAND" - Our powerful patriotic celebration CD honoring all that make America great!  Featuring "The Star Spangled Banner", a "Salute to the Armed Forces", the unforgettable trilogy "Doxology/We Shall Overcome/Lean on Me", and the grand finale "Battle Hymn of the Republic".  A can't miss concert CD that should be in your collection!

Winter 2011-12 "Only Love" - Our current Christmas concert CD features our youth chorus "The Christmas Angels".  Our most moving concert yet also features powerful songs of praise like "Gloria in Excelsis Deo!" and "O Holy Night", a beautiful chorale with carols featuring the Angels, the stirring title track and ending with the jubilant "Joy, Joy, Joy"!

Summer 2011 "There's No Business Like Show Business" - Our 20th anniversary tribute to Broadway and musical theatre!  Highlights include:  an a capella version of "Seasons of Love", "Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat" from Guys and Dolls, a tribute to the glorious MGM musicals and the stirring finale - a gospel version of Carousel's "You'll Never Walk Alone"

Winter 2010 "The First Noel: Born is the King" - Our most powerful concert to date is now on CD!  Highlights are "You Better Get Ready" featuring Ruthie Burnham, an epic "O Holy Night", "Infant Heart of God", and the stirring finale - "The First Noel"

Summer 2010  "100 Years of American Pop" - our CD from our summer tour featuring a century's worth of popular hits.  Highlights are a tribute to the Beatles and the 40th anniversary of "Bridge Over Troubled Water"  ($10.00 each)
